The NIGRIN PERFORMANCE Fiberglass Body Filler is an elastic specialty compound made from high-quality polyester resin and reinforcing glass fibers. Ideally suited for repairing deformations as well as bridging smaller holes and cracks on vehicle bodies, body panels, RVs, boats, or in model-making.
It stands out for its excellent adhesion and long-lasting stability – even under vibration, temperature fluctuations, or mechanical stress. The fiberglass filler is also ideal for reinforcing rusted or weakened sheet metal sections.

Anwendungsschritte

Prepare surface
Remove rust, degrease, clean, and sand the surface.

Mix filler
Mix PERFORMANCE Fiberglass Body Filler with hardener at a ratio of 98% to 2% – mix a golf ball-sized amount of filler with a pea-sized amount of hardener thoroughly.

Apply filler
Apply the mixture quickly to the repair area.

Allow to cure
Allow to cure completely for approx. 25 minutes.

Rough sand
After curing, shape the filler with coarse sandpaper.

Apply fine filler
Smooth the repair area with NIGRIN Fine Body Filler.
07
Fine sand
Sand the repair area smooth.
Hinweis
Optimal working temperature from +10 °C. Curing begins after 4–5 minutes.
